Regional meetings and Educational seminars

CSPO has hosted a number of regional meetings and educational seminars, with the aim of updating the knowledge of Prosthetist - Orthotists and other para-medical professionals. The seminars are delivered by leading experts drawn from across the globe.

Seminars run at CSPO include:

Learning new techniques at the Upper Limb Seminar organised by CSPO

In response to the needs of upper limb amputees, many of whom are survivors of land mine and unexploded ordnance accidents, CSPO hosted a 5-day seminar on Functional Upper Limb Prosthetics (artificial arms). The aim of the seminar was to improve the quality of physical rehabilitation services provided to upper limb amputees. The focus of the seminar was the multi-disciplinary approach to upper limb rehabilitation. The seminar was attended by 10 Physiotherapists and 14 Prosthetist - Orthotists from the Physical Rehabilitation Centres of Cambodia. These clinicians returned to their centres to develop the upper limb rehabilitation services within Cambodia.
