What is ISPO Category II?
An experienced Prosthetist - Orthotist from the USA supervising practical work This course is a three-year, full-time diploma especially designed for low-income countries like Cambodia. To meet the emergency needs in low-income countries, the course has a very intensive curriculum which requires students to complete five thousand hours of study. 70% of time is allocated to practical work including one thousand hours of clinical experience under the supervision of experienced prosthetist-orthotists in the final year. All CSPO lecturers are Prosthetist - Orthotists who hold University degrees, equivalent to ISPO Category 1 standards, and who have at least three years work experience.
